Woman dies in M5 crash near Frankley Services

POLICE officers are investigating a fatal crash which happened around 4.20am near Frankley Services this morning.

The incident, involving a car and a lorry, happened between Junction 4 and Junction 3 (Halesowen) have appealed for anyone with dashcam footage of the incident to come forward.

A woman died after the incident with West Midlands Ambulance Service saying nothing could be done to save her.

Appealing for witnesses, a West Mercia Police spokesperson said: “We are particularly keen to hear from people who were driving in the area shortly before the collision, who may have dashcam footage.

“Please get in touch to share what you saw.

“Even the smallest piece of information could help our investigation into this incident.
