THE ANNUAL two-day Moseley and Kings Heath Beer Festival gets under way on Friday, March 8.

The event, which boasts 30 beers, 20 ciders and an additional bar, runs from 5pm to 11pm on Friday at Kings Heath Cricket Club, Alcester Road South. It is also open from 1pm to 11pm on Saturday.

As well as the beverages for real ale and cider connoisseurs, there will also be food, live music and the Six Nations rugby will be shown on Saturday. Admission, which includes a glass and tasting notes, is £5.

The event is organised by the Moseley Round Table, 41 Club, Ladies’ Circle and Tangent.

South Birmingham Radio will be there on the Saturday and we even have our own sponsored ‘SBR’ beer.

And the event will be raising funds for charity projects and worthy causes.
