Thief posing as ‘Good Samaritan’ stole a phone from woman having a seizure in Selly Oak

POLICE have released these pictures in connection with an incident where a thief who stole a mobile phone from a woman while she was suffering a seizure outside Selly Oak Railway Station.
The incident happened at midday on February 17.
While the woman, who was in her 20s, was having the seizure, another woman posing as a Good Samaritan approached her to help.
But she then took a phone from the victim’s pocket and put it in her own.
The victim was then taken to hospital by ambulance.
Officers believe the woman in the CCTV pictures could have information to assist their investigation.
