Rallying call to residents to join the South Birmingham Radio Flashfeed for the homeless

Written by on October 23, 2018

SOUTH Birmingham residents are being urged to take part in a Flashfeed for the charity Homeless Birmingham – Cert UK.

The organisation has people who go out in all weathers to help feed the homeless but they are running low on both food donations and volunteers.

So a flashfeed has been organised for tomorrow evening.

Residents are urged to turn up to Albert Street in the city centre between 6pm and 10pm tomorrow with cans of food, pasta, big pots of stew, soup, cutlery, food trays and anything else they can think of which would come in handy.

Alex, South Birmingham Radio’s head of web and social media, said: “We know how community minded all of our listeners are and we think they can rise to the challenge for this absolutely brilliant cause.”
