Public Space Protection Order put in place for Moseley and Kings Heath

A PUBLIC SPACE Protection Order has been put in place for parts of Moseley and Kings Heath after incidents of anti-social behaviour. Among the actions being prohibited are begging, possessing items to create graffiti and blocking footpaths.
Authorised officers are permitted to ask people to stop drinking alcohol in the areas and carrying open bottles or cans of alcohol.
Groups of two or more people can be dispersed and banned from regrouping again. A man has already been dispersed for drunken behaviour in Moseley Village and another had alcohol confiscated and received a warning. The PSPO is in place until September 2020.
