Police thank the community for helping get two guns in Quinton off the streets

POLICE in Quinton have taken two handguns off the streets as part of the force’s crack down on weapons.

These two firearms were found during the early hours of yesterday morning and were discovered by officers acting on intelligence for the local community.

Officers Tweeted this picture of the haul, along with a message thanking the public.

It read: “You remain our eyes and ears in the fight against crime, thank you!”
