Man charged with burglaries in Moseley, Sandwell and Dudley

A MAN has been charged with a string of burglaries across Birmingham, Sandwell and Dudley, along with dangerous driving.
It follows a six-minute pursuit in the early hours of Monday morning.
It is alleged prior to that Christopher Straker broke into a house in Moseley, shortly after midnight and stole a VW Polo before forcing entry to two homes in Oldbury, where a laptop and alcohol were taken.
Straker is accused of failing to stop for police and driving dangerously during the chase which ended in Priory Road just after 3am.
The 36-year-old has also been charged with five other burglaries – three in Dudley in May and June, including one where a BMW was stolen, one in Balsall Heath in December last year and one in February in Yardley when watches were taken.
Straker, of no fixed address, appeared at Dudley Magistrates Court yesterday.
