FOUR pubs in South Birmingham have made it into the top ten of the Second City’s most Dog Friendly Pubs.
The survey was carried out by Rover.com, the largest dog walking and sitting platform which was launched in Birmingham last month.
Among the hostelries which made the top ten were The Junction in Harborne, which was tenth, the Village Inn in Moseley which occupied the ninth spot and the One Trick Pony, also in Moseley, which was eighth.
The Physician in Harborne took the ‘lead’ and ‘walked’ its way to the top spot.
It was praised in the guide as being ‘welcoming to all canine friends’, offering doggie treats behind the bar and beautiful circular riverside walks around the pub.
And as well as offering free water for dogs and treats, the Village Inn is contemplating getting in ‘doggie beer’ (alcohol free of course).
