Drugs and ammunition seized and arrests made in Kings Norton raids

POLICE in Kings Norton have seized drugs and gun ammunition and made two arrests after raiding two properties in Kings Norton.

The morning swoops were carried out yesterday (Friday) in Greaves Square.

Class B drugs, associated paraphernalia and a significant amount of cash were recovered from one address.

A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs with intent supply.

The ammunition was found at the other address where a 56-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing ammunition.

He was later released with no further action taken.

The raids formed part of the police’s on-going commitment to tackling drug and gun crime across the city.
