CCTV pictures of men police want to speak to in connection with vicious Birmingham City Centre attack

WEST Midlands Police have released CCTV pictures of people they want to speak to following an unprovoked attack in Birmingham City Centre in June.

The incident happened at the junction of Grosvenor Street and Jennens Road at 1pm on June 8. A 19-year-old man was with his two friends when they were surrounded by a gang of 15 men.

The friends were repeatedly kicked and punched before the victim was stabbed in the back and arm.

The 19-year-old was hospitalised and is still recovering from his injuries now he is at home.

Two teenagers, aged 17 and 18, were arrested on suspicion of wounding and released pending further investigation.
