STUDENTS starting a part-time course in the 2018/2019 academic year could be eligible for a new part-time maintenance loan.
This is the first time students in Birmingham can apply for one to help them with their living costs.
The funding is available to new students starting their courses on or after August 1.
Part-time students can also apply for a tuition fee loan and extra help is available for those with a disability.
Student Loans Company’s Director of Operations Derick Moss said it had never been easier to apply.
Visit www.gov.uk/studentfinance and fill out the application to ensure funding is in place when the course starts.
