Appeal to find Gerrard Doogan after stabbing on a bus in Edgbaston

AN APPEAL has been launched to find a suspect after a man was stabbed three times on a bus in Edgbaston.

Police want to speak to Gerrard Doogan following the incident which happened at 4pm on Thursday.

The victim, who was 34, was on his way home from work on the X8 bus on the Hagley Road when the attack happened outside Morrisons.

The victim was stabbed in the arm three times with a small, unknown weapon and, fortunately, was not seriously injured.

Doogan, who is 38, has links to Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield and Walsall.

Anyone who sees Doogan should not approach him and call 999 straight away.
