A Musical Great at the Alexander Theatre
On June 12th I treated myself to a lovely show at the Alexandra Theater.
It was the story of Arthur Kipps a working class gentleman who gave his love Half a Sixpence.
As this was a show before I didn’t know what to expect!
At the start I wasn’t sure I would enjoy it, however, as the show went on I was pulled in to this classic and it seems the rest of the audience were too.
The performance was top notch!
The emotion was very Powerful.
The actor that stood out to me most was Annabel Pilcher her performance had the audience hooked to her story line.
I would recommend this show to all my friends!
The chorus rocked with their amazing dance routines choreographed by Susan Budd and Music direction for the numbers by David Easto; you will be toe tapping to each routine.
On the night the only negative comment
The sound was the only negative comment the microphones cut off at times, and the performances at the start were drowned out by the orchestra however this was night two and I’m sure this would have been fed back.
Go get your tickets for the next few nights before they sell out as this is a show not to be missed!
